Founded in 1985, Omega Technology is an experienced and well known company in IT services in Greece. The Company serves Greek public bodies, enterprises and other organizations with technology and services made possible by more than 35 years of experience. The solutions provided include 3D applications, assisted living solutions, e-commerce applications, e-learning platforms, document and knowledge management systems, and on demand software. The headquarters of the company are located in Athens and two branches are established in Patra and Ioannina.

The project PROVLEPO focuses on the design and development of an IoT portable sensor platform, along with machine learning elements in the cloud, for the prediction and detection of acute medical events, as well as stressful conditions in the workplace. The project includes the design and development of prototype smart mobile devices for the continuous monitoring of basic health parameters of workers in industrial and hazardous environments.

Omega Technology is currently developing its own localization and fall detection system. The project is named THESI (Position). This research has been co-financed by Greece and the European Union (European Social Funds) through the Operational Program “'Human Resources Development” of the National Strategic Framework (NSRF) 2007-2013.




POPULART project, based on the "Popular University" concept, will design interactive and multimedia courses on Community Psychology through Arts and will develop methodologies that will be engaging the adult learners encouraging holistic learning processes. The training material will be flexible in the Arts part, giving the freedom (and the tools) to the trainer to select the Artwork that will use. This way, Populart will extend educators competences and at the same time offer high quality multimedia and interactive learning opportunities adequate for all citizens with emphasis on low skills and low qualified adults.


EmpathyInHealth aims in filling in the existing gap in Health Care Education both in the Higher Education as well as in VET. The whole project starts with desk and field research and more specifically with focus groups to identify the needs of different target groups as far as empathetic communication is concerned. Based on the results of the research a qualification framework is being developed with the learning outcomes for empathetic communication in two different levels (5 and 7). It is noted here that the qualification framework to be developed includes both the learning outcomes that consist the transversal competence of EMPATHY as well as more specific LOs that deal with the specific sector of Health Care.



Omegatech’s platform “3DGuides” (in the framework of the ICT4Growth grants programme) is a platform for making multilingual 3D and augmented reality city guides without the need to have any knowledge about unity or Vuforia or any other SDK or Plugins. 3D guides is composed of a content management system, an authoring tool and the mobile players. A non-experience user can with drag and drop features to create in a few minutes a city guide with articles, routes, mini-games and AR content. 



GreenHost : Ολοκληρωμένο Σύστημα Περιβαλλοντικού Αποτυπώματος Τουριστικών Μονάδων
Αντικείμενο του έργου GreenHost είναι η δημιουργία μίας Software as a Service εφαρμογής με σκοπό την εξοικονόμηση ενέργειας, την απευθείας παρακολούθηση του ενεργειακού και περιβαλλοντικού αποτυπώματος τουριστικών επιχειρήσεων, την ευαισθητοποίηση και ενημέρωση των επισκεπτών τους, και την λήψη αποφάσεων με βάση ιστορικά δεδομένα.τους διαβίωση, την ακαδημαϊκή του πορεία τις ευκαιρίες απασχόλησης και τις λοιπές κοινωνικές τους δραστηριότητες.

The purpose of ENVSTORIES project activities is bringing together “young changemakers” from four countries to brainstorm ideas for solutions to local, national and international environmental problems. The program offers the participants the opportunity to meet and learn from people across the world in a variety of immersive environments: which could prove useful to deepen their knowledge about the environment and arm their self with the tools necessary to understand the unique challenges environments and distinct cultures across the world face. 


Omegatech in Brist project will develop an innovative mobile app where teachers and researchers can connect and be supported to produce, share and use small scale school based research. The aim is for the app to be used by teachers in schools to support their practice and ultimately improve the learning outcomes for students.


Knights for Road Safety (KROS) is an Erasmus+ programme (KA2 - Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices: Strategic Partnerships for school education), focusing on open education and innovative practices in a digital era, aiming to strengthen the profiles of teaching profession. KROS will introduce cutting edge technologies in order to accompany the retention of information regarding the subject of road safety. More in particular, the project will use virtual reality technologies so as to introduce attractiveness in the learning process and secondly to improve the quality of the delivery channels of the content. KROS is funded by Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.



GreeNet: Assistant Gardener Curriculum for people with Intellectual Disabilities

GreeNet aims in improving and innovating inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities through fostering specific actions within the framework of Adult Education and Rehabilitation for people with Intellectual disability. It aims to create a complete training Course for Adult Educations in Horticulture (AssistantGardener – PID)and promote Work Based Learning (WBL) and co-training and also involve the trainees' working in the community. GreeNet will provide the opportunity to people with Intellectual disability to obtain a certification for the learning units achieved or the entire curriculum.



VRESS: Ενίσχυση Κοινωνικών Δεξιοτήτων μέσω Εφαρμογών Εικονικής Πραγματικότητας

Σκοπός του έργου είναι να αναπτύξει μια πλατφόρμα δημιουργίας εξατομικευμένων σεναρίων εικονικής πραγματικότητας μέσα από τα οποία τα άτομα με Αυτισμό θα μπορούν να συμμετέχουν σε πρώτο πρόσωπο σε προσομοιώσεις κοινωνικών καταστάσεων που να βασίζονται στην τεχνική κατασκευής των Κοινωνικών Ιστοριών (Social Stories)

Homore: Έξυπνο Σύστημα Παρακολού-θησης της Φυσιολογικής Διαβίωσης Ηλικιωμένων σε Αστικές και Αγροτικές Περιοχές 

Αντικείμενο του έργου αποτελεί η ανάπτυξη και δοκιμαστική εφαρμογή ενός νέου πρωτοποριακού συστήματος σταθερών και φορητών αισθητήρων που θα βασίζεται σε κανόνες ασφαλούς διαβίωσης αλλά και συμβίωσης ατόμων που ανήκουν σε ευπαθείς ομάδες. 

The I-SUPPORT project envisions the development and integration of an innovative, modular, ICT-supported service robotics system that supports and enhances frail older adults’ motion and force abilities and assists them in successfully, safely and independently completing the entire sequence of bathing tasks, such as properly washing their back, their upper parts, their lower limbs, their buttocks and groin, and to effectively use the towel for drying purposes. 



DDSkills: Cutting-Edge Digital Skills for professional care givers of Persons with Disabilities and Mental Health Problems

The DDSKILLS project aims to develop training courses for digital skills of professional caregivers so they can make better use of new technologies, and support persons with disabilities in the usage of such technologies.


CareV.E.T. project’s main objective is to extend the offer of high quality learning opportunities, delivering an up-to-date pioneer curriculum in the field of Supported/Assisted Living. The curriculum will address the latest’s technological advancements in the assisted living domain, as well as role playing, social networks building around people with disabilities, and self-advocacy skills that can be utilized by the supportive living operators(SLOs) to improve the beneficiaries’ wellbeing.

A toolkit will be developed, demonstrating state of the art solutions in Assisted Living (motion detection, location identification, heart rate measurements, step counting, sleep behavior, etc), that the SLOs will be able to try with beneficiaries during practical training and work based learning. CareV.E.T. is intended to be an attractive curriculum that will combine social care, ICT and wellness competencies.

MELOS project focuses on training and education needs of people with light mental disabilities aiming to achieve the development of cognitive, perceptual and kinetic skills through an enjoyable, creative and interactive learning experience with musical instruments.  

Learning a musical instrument is addressed to everyone regardless of the degree of functionality and disability, so that no one is excluded from the process of learning. This implies the coexistence, rather than the separation, of people with different degrees of functionality and that is the main objective of MELOS.

The project, by utilizing a game engine platform offers a dynamic interface that serves the needs for both self-learning and live training for Musical Education through light and optical stimuli. The project is Funded by Erasmus+ Program.


WORKINGTHROUGH: Virtual Reality training in work related skills for Individuals with Autism

The main goal of WORKINGTHROUGH project is to utilize a VR environment using social scripts in order to train People with Autism in “soft” skills (interpersonal intelligence, communication) in increasingly challenging work environments.
